Participating Maryland eCare is a unique collaboration of independent hospitals working to improve the health of Marylanders.
• eCare bolsters safety processes and goals already in place with state-of-the-art monitoring and care rooted in the latest evidence-based medicine.
• eCare enhances care by adding highly specialized nurses and physicians to a patient’s care team to monitor moment to moment trends and alert on-site caregivers if there if there is a change in a patient’s status.
• eCare is not a substitute for on-site staff. Working together, on-site caregivers and eCare become an effective team that improves quality and patient outcomes.
